Purpose

This work instruction describes the process for replacing the MXU Solenoid. These repair instructions are valid for revision C MXU Digital Centrifuges.

Required Equipment

• Solenoid; 12V (Part # 100079)
• Phillips head screwdriver
• #7 nut driver or #7 socket with socket wrench

Summary of Process

The repair procedure involves removing the centrifuge's rotor and base plate, disconnecting and replacing the solenoid, and then reassembling and verifying the unit's functionality.
