Purpose

This document provides instructions for replacing the soft start motor drive board in the E8 Touch Centrifuge. These instructions are valid for E8 Touch Revisions A and B.

Required Equipment

• Motor Drive Board (Part # 101283)
• #1 Philips Screwdriver

Summary of Process

The procedure involves unplugging the unit, removing the rotor and base/motor assembly, and then disconnecting and replacing the motor drive board. The new board is rewired and the unit is reassembled. The repair concludes with a functionality check of the centrifuge.
