Purpose

This work instruction describes the process for replacing the soft start motor drive board in the E8 Digital Centrifuge. These instructions are valid for Revision J of the E8 Digital model.

Required Equipment

• Motor Drive Board (Part # 100480-C)
• #1 Philips Screwdriver

Summary of Process

The repair procedure involves unplugging the centrifuge and removing the rotor and base assembly. The existing motor drive board is then disconnected and replaced with a new one. The new board is rewired, and the unit is reassembled and tested to confirm full functionality.
