Purpose

This work instruction describes the process for replacing the motor drive board fuse in the E8 Digital Centrifuge. These repair instructions are valid for the E8 Digital Centrifuge.

Required Equipment

• Fuse; 2A, 250V (Part # 100084)
• 1/8” Flathead Screwdriver
• #1 Philips Screwdriver

Summary of Process

The procedure involves unplugging the unit and removing the rotor and base/motor assembly. The old fuse is then disconnected and the new fuse is installed. Finally, the unit is reassembled and verified to be functioning correctly.
